Last night I went to Outlaws to meet up with a few old friends from Medicine Hat... being that me and my friend Cole were being incredibly slow (and were trying to finish off the alcohol we had at my place before going), we ended up not getting there until after midnight.
Man, I always forget just how expensive it is to go to a bar in Calgary!! Aaarrrggghhh! By the time we payed for the taxi ride down there and our cover charge, I only had $20 left out of the $50 I had grabbed... and just to find out that my friends had already left!!
Regardless, Cole and I decided to make the best of it. We were both feeling pretty good, him with rum in his belly, I with gin, and energy that could be surpassed by no other. I was in a mood to party! And I was wearing my new cowboy hat :)
Upon scanning the bar I came to the conclusion there were no hot ladies there (I was going to hook Cole up, but we couldn't find any targets), so just set out to have our own fun. One time while walking through the bar I got pulled aside by one of the girls that looks there... "You look hot!" she says... "Thanks" I said back, not sure if it was customary to compliment her the same. She then turns and grabs something, "You deserve a prize for being the hottest girl here tonight" and puts something in my hand. "Ok" I say, look at Cole and we walk away. Sorry, I had no idea what to do there! Was she coming on to me? Anyways, she gave me this sweet Bavaria shirt. I can't really wear it anywhere, it's too slutty for work, and looks too much like I should be working in a bar so if I wear it there people will be wanting me to serve them. I feel as if it is my prize though... yes ... my prize for going to the bar ;)
Ooooh, and then later that night I got to wear a snake on my shoulders. Some guy was standing there with a snake and I definitely wanted to pet it... he surprised me by drapping it on me... it was incredible to feel this heavy boa constrictor moving across my shoulders. Nothing like I would expect!
I then spent the rest of the evening going around and turning every guys' shirt collars down... aparently they think it is stylish to wear their collars up... I made a point of letting them know I thought it looked retarded... and their collars being up angered Cole and I really didn't need him getting into a fight over something so trivial.
So that was my night :) I wish Chad could've been there but he's in Mexico walking around in a Speedo (That will be an entirely new story along with pictures when he gets back!!!)
